Nazi's chased away from Eskilstuna square by teenagers
Made an article for a paper i'm gonna write for. They probably won't use it. It's not really news in Sweden, and i'm not at all satisfied with it, but it was damn fun to be where the action was. Charges back and forth between nazi's and counter demonstrators, the healty amount of youngins that gathered and made fun of the nazi's. The wit of these youngins: "I will take that paper of yours and put it in your mamma's arse." It all sort of gets lost in these formal news writings: < ... >

Swallowed by the beast
An update about me is in order perhaps. I know you guys and gals are updating this site daily, so it's only fair. Basically i've quit the bread smearing business. I dunno, it gets boring after a while. I met this guy building his site on Common Lisp (yes at a Lisp meeting, you don't meet these guys in the wild you know), and after some mailing back and fro, some meetings, some programming and some magic handwaving I now work for him. < ... >

No i'm not dead, i'm just extremely boring. To see how boring exactly, go to
my other blog, which on some days enjoys 2000 times the visitorcount of this one (well, one day to be exact) and which got on the del.icio.us most popular list (for one day) not to mention the reddit popular list (two times). It makes daddy proud. And no, boasting is not a crime, it's just a really nasty character trait. < ... >

Damned icy Swedish roads
I broke my leg. Boring. I was biking from my work to home when i made a turn. I know, stupid maneuver. While falling my foot got caught somehow between ground and bike on the wrong side of my south-west axis seen from the crown of my head. The weight of the bike forced my foot backwards. I saw it happening. My foot was turned 180 degrees from it's rest position, relative to my leg. I gave a scream of irritation because i knew my snowboarding plans were over. As i was wondering if it would stay in that position it swirved back when it got some breathing space. Then it just layed there, looking slightly guilty. I could not help but hope that was the end of it and i could get on my bike. It was not to be. As i moved my leg i noticed my foot wanted to stay behind. Tissue and bone crunched in very uncharactaristic ways. I cried for help and three minutes later i was carried off by an ambulance. Seven hours later the doctors had already operated on me. < ... >

finger
A few days ago a fried of mine drove his stationwagon up on the pavement and threatened to drive me over. I gave him the finger inside my glove, which gives a bit of a strange impression i guess, because the only thing he could see was a turned around hand. As he came alongside i could see his face. To my surprise the driver was not my friend but an unknown skinhead. I quickly walked away from the scene wondering how smart this specimin was and how he interpreted my glove. Two minutes later he honked as he zipped by from behind; middlefinger in the air. I was impressed with this kind of applied intelligence, in my opinion overlooked by observers of the species. < ... >

End of year work overview
Again some talk about my work. I always thought talk about someone's work was really boring, but talking about your own work is actually quite fun. Furthermore i think my work is a bit special. Did i mention i got rehired again. Most of you know that about now i guess. Did i mention the girls i worked with when i got rehired are already fired? Confused? Just let me give you a nice soap-opera end of year overview of the hire-fire history at my work since i started working: < ... >

M.I.A.
My friends Alex and Fleur were gonna come over from Holland, yesterday evening. I was gonna get him with a Swedish friend of mine, Axell. Axell's own car broke down the day before that, due to a broken wheel-axel or lager or something. On the front... He was lucky that he was just parking his car and it didn't happen on the freeway. At freeway speed his car would probably have spiralled out of control and he would have suffered a horrible death. That experience caused him to be a bit worried when the backside of his mother's car made funny sounds and wobbles on the way to the airport... < ... >

flu
I've been struggeling with a particularly persistent cold since i got back from Holland over a month ago. My adopted hometown here in Sweden, Eskilstuna also had some problems in this area last week. I didn't know it at the time but my mother called from Portugal because she had seen the news on the Dutch tv. Finally Eskilstuna got the
international attention it deserves. A rich past, a vibrating present. I ammongst many wondered why the world didn't catch on to the unique qualities of Eskilstuna sooner. But now i also knew the news: bird

Even though i wanted to go to bed at five. Grrlfrnd talked it over with her a bit later: "...but he wants to go to bed at five". "At five? Oh i'm sorry i thought he would go to bed at eight. Bittersweet stories from eskilstuna: part two
A friend of me and my grrlfrnd went to sign his retirement papers last week. I don't really know the process of signing retirement papers, and i heard this story from grllfrnd but it involves a lot of almost-pensioners to go to the factory where they work and let them sign the papers as one after the other is summoned into the office where the signing is taking place. < ... >

Well what have i hanging on my bike???!?!?!?! (dutch expression) For the last month i have been terrorised by this mobile phone commercial about some hairpermed eightties rockers thrashing various street objects and harrassing this guy who clearly didnt do anything wrong while screaming "breaking the chains, BREAKING THE CHAINS!!!!". The guy was just minding his buisiness walking the street, and rightly so this man got quite fed up with the asocial behaviour. In the evening of the sixth of august i was dead tired; emotionally drained. A week later it is still hard to think about that day without feeling the tears burning at the back of my eyes. what house!?
Strange times. Early in some morning i find myself in the studentroom of a metal/grunge type of guy. Two more guys are present and a girl and me. She has fallen asleep long ago although metal/grunge is hammering on her eardrum on louder than loud level, maybe because it has hammered on for some hours already. The neighbours don't complain either which is a bit strange considering it has gone on for hours. The guys are singing along on the top of their longs. Neighbours and girl are quite fine with this also. I don't always sing along cause 1. i don't know all the songs 2. i'm a bit shy. On the other side of town my girlfriend is going to bed. We went out together but somewhere along the line the group split up in girls and boys groups. While we were doing male-accepted karaoke, she was doing female-accepted karaoke (you know with white text turning red and all) untill she got to tired. < ... >

I don't have to remind the reader that government spells bureaucracy. The gloomy impersonal nature of it, on which u can get no grip, has been the subject of many a story.
