Ingredients: For this you need 1 tin can of condensed milk, a pan, some water and a heating device (preferably one suited for cooking).
Preparation: Put the unopened can in the pan. Put water in the pan. Let the water boil for two hours. Take the can from the pan. Open the can, et voila, caramel out of a can.
The recipe is from grrlfrnd's bolivian steph-mother. It's a south-american/middle east thing to do. They smear it on their bread, eat it out of a can and such.
A word of caution: i'm not really sure if heated cans can explode in water, but he South-American knowledge-base over here has no recollection of known incidents. Enjoy at own risk.
